Special Circumstances

Former priest turned lawyer Mike Daley is about as down on his luck as they come. His marriage has just crumbled, leaving behind a messy divorce, and he has just been ousted from his partnership at Simpson & Gates, one of San Francisco`s most successful law firms. In an attempt to pick up the pieces, Mike opens his own firm on the wrong side of town. His first client, however, happens to be his best friend, who has been arrested for the murders of a Simpson & Gates partner and a beautiful associate. Mike feels sure about his friend`s innocence, but as the court date draws near he discovers some awful secrets hidden behind the city`s most prestigious firm, to some of which his friend is linked.
